Many Deaths of Trotsky

DIRECTED BY JESSI MILLER
INSPIRED BY DAVID IVES

Trotsky's dead. This much we know. The circumstances leading to and the actual cause of that death however remain shrouded in history. Did he die of natural causes in the kitchen or was he murdered by a political assassin in the garden? Was the implement of destruction a mountain climber's ax, ice pick, or did he die of a broken heart? Perhaps Trotsky isn't even dead at all, it only appears that way. In "Many Deaths of Trotsky"we invite audiences to "interACT" in a choose your own (Trotsky death) adventure with live music and sock puppets.

Inspired by David Ives short play "Variations on the Death of Trotsky" Quasimondo is pleased to present this new work at Art Milwaukee's "interACT", an  immersive theatrical event showcasing Milwaukee performing arts.
