This interactive event features Wisconsin ghost stories from the 19th and early 20th centuries, mingled with folk and fairy tales of the Old World, combining spooky daytime activities with macabre and magical nighttime stories in an unforgettable cornucopia of music, dance, and fun!

With prestidigitation scarecrows come alive in a piece inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Feathertop". Cower with the beautiful Vasilisa, captive of the dreaded witch Baba Yaga and her 10ft chicken hut! New to this Halloween we're pleased to present original, site-specific creations inspired by "The Bogeyman", Edgar Allan Poe's "Masque of the Red Death", the origins of wolf men in "The Beast of "Gévaudan", and a terrifying finale featuring the tale of Beowulf and Grendel.
