Quasimondo Physical Theatre

Quasimondo @ Milwaukee art Museum

Directed by Quasimondo Ensemble Members:

Jessi Miller, Kirk Thomsen, Andrew Parchman, Michael Weiss, Simon Andreas Eichinger, and Brian Rott.

Commissioned by the Milwaukee Art Museum for their After Dark event, "Once Upon a Time"; the Quasimondo Ensemble created site-specific pieces inspired by the art and architecture of the museum. Each piece examines the relationship between art and its environment, and the subjectivity of observation.

Peer down into a living experiment of evolution into "The Petri Dish", watch giant robots battle for the fate of Milwaukee in "Quantum MECHanics", and follow the painter, Thomas Sully, through the special exhibit gallery as his works come to life and play out the stories behind the canvas in "Sully Gets Framed".
